Planetary ascension

A Kumba Mela is the major effort made by the Earth to move from number 4 to number 5. To understand this statement we need to have a very clear idea of what is the number 4 in relation to the Earth. 4 expresses the essence of our planet, because everything that manifests on Earth is the result of four energies that are constantly combined simultaneously and from that combination emerges all that exists.
Traditionally these energies have been called with the names of earth, water, air and fire. Each symbolizes one of the energies that are concretized in this level of reality in which our planet is manifested.
We said that all that exists is the result of the combination of these four energies. But, as everything created tends to evolve, our planet also tries to level up. How is this achieved? Like the other beings, the Earth is connected with everything that exists in the Universe. In this way the planet can capture energies of a subtlety superior to those it possesses. And it is the transformation of those subtle energies that allow to access a higher level. Something similar happens to humans. We are also connected to the Universe and we capture a great diversity of energies of all kinds. From the conscious transformation of these energies, the assimilation of the more subtle energies will ultimately depend on what we can ascend to the level. That is, the use we give of how much we eat (air, food, thoughts, emotions) will determine our position in the scale of beings.
What does it mean to reach a higher level, both for the planetary being and for the human being?? Well quite simply acquire a higher state of consciousness that we possess. Remember that the Earth is not an inanimate entity but a living being that has its own developmental stages, cycles, processes of accumulation and transformation of energy. If we observe the terrestrial movement we will see that it manifests mainly in a cycle of four stages: the seasons, marked by so many fundamental dates, the equinoxes and solstices. In each of these moments the Earth is able to absorb certain type of cosmic energy and transform it to perform step number 4 to 5. However, if we look at the geographical formation of the planet we see that in this there is great deserts and mountain ranges. This is very important since the cosmic energy is transformed completely differently in an arid desert than in the mountains of the great mountain ranges. The biggest mountain ranges on the planet are the Andes and the Himalayas. Each of these ranges constantly receives a particularly subtle type of energy. However, in some special moments that energy undergoes a transformation that allows the expansion of consciousness of Earth. Something similar happens in the deserts, although the perceived energy is completely different. The Kumba Mela are precisely the sacred ceremonies performed in the great mountain ranges and vast deserts on certain dates,, by people very special indeed, in order to achieve the benefit to the planet of the most subtle cosmic energies.
One such date is March 21, corresponding in the northern hemisphere to the spring equinox. On that day, the Kumba Mela is regularly held on Mount Kailas, in Tibet. June 21 corresponds to the summer solstice and Kumba Mela is held in Machu Picchu in Peru, in the Andes. September 21 corresponds to the autumn equinox and the Kumba Mela takes place in the Sahara Desert in Memphis. Finally, December 21 corresponds to the winter solstice and the Kumba Mela takes place in the Gobi desert, in a place called Saya Chang. Since we live in the American continent and somehow our mountains belong to the Andes, we have a special way of being and a determined capacity to modify the energies of this zone of the planet. So on this occasion we will focus especially on the Kumba Mela that are made in the Andes Mountains.
In view of the great planetary cycles corresponding to the changes of eras, for 2,000 years the Kumba Mela ceremony is held on Mount Kailas during the spring equinox and another 2,000 years in Machu Picchu in the Andes.
The Kumba Mela ceremony is not annual but is held every 12 years. But, I insist, 2,000 years in one mountain range and 2,000 years in another. In the recently completed Age of Pisces, it was performed every 12 years on Mount Kailas. And throughout the Age of Aquarius, which began on March 21, 1948, the same ceremony will be held every 12 years in Machu Picchu.
Now, to explain more easily what a Kumba Mela consists of, we will describe the last three performed. We met on March 21, 1950 in Tibet. Although the Age of Pisces ended two years ago, for the last time the ceremony will be held on Mount Kailas. The reason is that of the last 12 years, had corresponded to the Age of Pisces and only two to the Age of Aquarius. What happens at the moment in Tibet? Although it may seem strange, the land of the eternal snows had managed to retain almost total isolation from the rest of the world. It was a theocratic state where traditions were kept in their pristine form, with a rejection of everything foreign. While during the first half of the twentieth century Tibetan independence had been threatened by the powerful neighboring states like China, Russia and Japan, as well as the distant England, thanks to a clever policy Tibet had managed to maintain its independence. However, at the end of World War II, China begins to prepare to invade the land of the lamas.
The date of the Kumba Mela is approaching and there are Chinese troops stationed on the Tibetan border. The Tibetan Prime Minister, an exceptional man from both a political and a spiritual point of view, Lama Tagdra Rimpoche, has succeeded in maintaining the independence of Tibet over the last few years; Knows that Tibet is about to perish.
Anticipating the conflicts to come, the Dalai Lama's take possession ceremony has accelerated, taking the reins of power before the expected age. Although it is the Dalai Lama who is responsible for directing the last ceremony of the Kumba Mela, he, in a gesture of respect and thanks to the Prime Minister, grants to Tagdra Rimpoche the authorization to direct the ceremony. This ceremony will be particularly dramatic, because Tibetan lamas celebrate not only the end of an era, but of their own country. There is an atmosphere of sadness and grief but at the same time serene wisdom, for they understand that this is due to the cycles of the planet and there is no way to remedy it. The ceremony consists of three stages. In the Kailas Valley there are hundreds of thousands of people who have come on pilgrimage; Some come from Tibet and others from India. Despite the sadness there is an extraordinary popular enthusiasm. In the middle of the mountain are people with a considerable level of consciousness, most belonging to the various religions of India, China, Tibet and Mongolia. Finally, at the top of the mountain, we see Llama Tagdra Rimpoche with a few High Initiates, whose number does not reach a dozen. They are the ones who properly perform the ceremony of the last Kumba Mela of the Piscean Age on the 21st hand of 1950. The presence of Regina in this ceremony was seen by all initiates as a symbol of the link between the two most important mountain ranges on the planet .
Now let's move mentally to Machu Picchu, on March 21, 1962. What situation is the American continent living on that date? The last 2,000 years corresponded to a growing spiritual decline because during all this time slept the Andes Mountain range. That decay led to the advancement of materialism, a characteristic of one who is spiritually asleep. In 1962, american countries had great faith in economic and material progress, as well as great ignorance of spiritual matters such as the Kumba Mela, to the extent that, except for some erudite on hindu issues, no one could have answered what it was a Kumba Mela or where it was going to be celebrated. The ceremony of June 21, 1962 in Machu Picchu was attended by only twenty people, presided over by the master José Manuel Estrada and without any popular assistance. Master Estrada, undoubtedly an extraordinary person, prevailed among other tasks to "reopen the Zodiac in the Andes." What does this expression mean?It means helping people to become aware of what the Zodiac is, and with it, the cyclical conception of history. For several years the group of maestro Estrada realized, in a form that I would call heroic, various actions aimed at "reopening the Zodiac in the Andes.".  So when arrived the June 21, 1974, 12 years after the first Kumba Mela in Machu Picchu, they come near a hundred people. Like the previous ones, the Kumba Mela of 1974 is a ceremony where participants are not required to be High Initiates or who belong to a certain spiritual current, but neither is promoted publicly. Another 12 years pass; We are now in 1986, and the third Kumba Mela of the Aquarian Age will be held again in Machu Picchu, with characteristics similar to the previous. The Estrada teacher is dead and the ceremony will be presided over by the teacher Domingo Dias Porta. We estimate that more than a thousand people will attend. Those who wish to go to the Kumba Mela must know, first of all, what they are going for. They must be very aware of what they will do and why they will. This would be the first recommendation: to have a clear conscience of what is done. Secondly, it is of fundamental importance to remember that attending a sacred ritual gives us a very special strength for the future. The secret of that force is hidden in one of the great advice that teachers have always given: when you have a problem, relax and mentally travel to the place where you last participated in a sacred ritual, and try to solve your problem from there.
The third recommendation is to also attend Inti Raymi. Before you ask me what it is, I must tell you that when a sacred ceremony is very important it continues to be celebrated even though from a strict ritual point of view it no longer makes sense. You will now understand why the Kumba Mela ritual never stopped practicing in the Andes, even though the ritual was actually performed in Tibet. All the great cultures of South America continued to practice this ritual. And to not forget, they did it every year with the name of Inti Raymi, which means "mooring of the Sun". The Incas practiced it in a place called Sacsahuaman, located on the outskirts of Cuzco. The conquest made christian the ceremony and was celebrated during the feast of Saint John, on June 24. It is very interesting to see this ritual because it respects a whole series of Inca and colonial traditions expressed in costumes, dances, etc.
These are some recommendations for those who want to participate in the Kumba Mela. Now, if you have any questions, I'll be happy to answer them.
What energies are the ones that the Earth captures when it is in number 4, and which are the ones that it captures when ascend to the 5? The energies that the Earth captures in number 4 are those that allow it to subsist on a material level. They are something like air and food for humans, and the Earth would die if it stopped assimilating them. The energy it captures at number five is what in the Hindu tradition is called prana, a very subtle cosmic energy.  Yoga refers to certain breath control exercises, known as pranayama, that allow to capture the subtle energy contained in the air. So does the Earth, only on a planetary level; Those exercises are known as Kumba Mela.
Was there a ritual equivalent to the Kumba Mela in pre-Hispanic Mexico?
In Mexico, a ceremony that reinforces the one held in Peru has never ceased. But the exact place where you have to practice the Kumba Mela is Machu Picchu.
I have a question: What kind of preparation is required to attend a Kumba Mela? The best preparation is to go with an attitude of modesty, but without ignoring that however small our help, we are useful for the purposes of the ritual.
In this Kumba Mela only attended people from Latin America ?. Of the 700 participants of the 1974 Kumba Mela there were only a few Europeans. All the others were from this continent and came from as far afield as Alaska and Argentina. The largest group was that of Mexicans, since 700 people easily 200 were Mexicans. I guess again the majority group is going to be the Mexican.
Tibetan people are not going to attend this Kumba Mela? They did not come to the previous one nor do I think they do now because it does not correspond to them.
Does the passage from four to five have to do with the awakening to the cristic state of humanity? Yes, only the cristic state, in this case, is not that of humanity, but of planet Earth. That is, the Earth as a living being has to acquire an cristic state permanently.
Does that mean it had not achieved it before? If it had, he would not be here; Remember that the planets evolve into stars. That means that when the Earth evolves enough it will correspond to being in the place where Mars is now, until it moves further and further from the Sun and gasifies until dematerialized. Then it will become a star with its planets. Jupiter is evidently more evolved as a planet than the Earth. It has a state of greater gasification and a greater number of satellites around it. That means it will transform into a sun long before Earth.
Will the birth of the New Age be painful like any birth? In 1962 people lived more unconsciously. Now, in 1986, at least he is aware that something is dying. However, most do not know that something is being born. There is no longer optimism in material progress that existed in 1962. In one way or another there are now numerous groups that begin to create the conditions for a change of consciousness. Twenty-four years ago no one gave a talk about the Kumba Mela for the simple reason that nobody cared. Now people are interested, inquiring and looking to start participating.
Do indigenous rituals like the Inti Raymi use mantras? Every sacred language produces mantras. Remember that languages, as well as everything that exists, are classified according to the time that produces them. That is, there are sacred languages, heroic languages, human languages and herd languages.
Mantras are the product of sacred languages. It is as respectable to say Kumba Mela as Inti Raymi, because it is the same concept expressed in two different sacred languages. Moreover, I think it is most likely that, as we recover our understanding of our own sacred roots, we will eventually abandon the name of Kumba Mela and adopt that of Inti Raymi to designate this important spiritual event.
For those of us who can not go on this occasion, when will the next Kumba Mela be? As we said, this ceremony will be held every twelve years in Machu Picchu throughout the Age of Aquarius; So, the next will be on June 21, 1998. Go now from your savings.
