Introduction

On June 30, 1989, the Dalai Lama pronounced an ancestral and powerful mamtra on the main altar of the Metropolitan Cathedral of Mexico City, located within the contours of one of the most important nadis in North America. The importance of this event was judged from different points of view. For most observers it was only an exemplary act of ecumenism, revealing that human beings can unite in prayer even though they have different religious conceptions. For a small group, this event was the successful culmination of an arduous task of over 70 years, in which several of the spiritual guides who, from anonymity, had participated in the evolution of humanity and the planet. The task at hand was to overcome the blockage of energy circulation that existed since the construction of the Panama Canal, which prevented that the flow of cosmic energy received by the mountains of North America to flow into the mountains to the South of the continent.

The reactivation of the circulation of energy in the mountain range of America -the true backbone of the planet- soon start producing consequences, the most noticeable of these was an increase in the level of consciousness of human beings, same as in turn it would result in subsequent months in incredible surprises. In December of that year 1989 is demolished the Berlin Wall. This is only the beginning of a much larger collapse. The communist regimes that prevailed in much of Europe begin to fall without requiring wars or revolutions. Suddenly, people in these countries realize the absurdity of the system they are subject and proceed to change it. Fallacies contained in communist ideology that according to its authors intended to govern the destiny of mankind until the end of time, they stand now before everyone's eyes only produce but disdain and contempt. The Soviet Union itself, heir to the empire built by the tsars for centuries of unceasing conquests, disintegrates in a trice in late 1991. The explanation for this unexpected event is again a sudden awareness, in this case the different peoples subjugated by Moscow, which decide not to continue tolerating longer so unjust situation.

Thus, in just 30 months from the time the energy circulation was restored in the backbone of the planet, there were events that changed the face of the Earth to a much greater degree than the result of all revolutions and wars -two of them worlwide-, which had taken place throughout the century.

What is now what can be expected from the future? Where is the human species headed? Try to determine which are indeed the "signs of the times" has never been an easy task. A millennium of history ends and another begins. It should make a stop along the way and wonder about what is really happening in the world, only this way will adjust our behavior to the demands and possibilities of the time doubtless exceptionall in which we were fortunate to live.

Now, in order to get an overview of the different forces that already interact in the gestation of the next events, it is necessary first of all to shed a series of prejudices and false concepts. We will try, therefore, to point out, first, which are the most common errors that impede an adequate perspective in what makes the understanding of the historical facts, simultaneously mentioning the criteria that we consider adequate to achieve this perspective. Having achieved this, will be clear the conclusion that the essential and distinctive characteristic of the times to come can be summarized in a single phrase that implies transcendental consequences:
